What Happens During a Thigh Lift?

This permits enough room to use liposuction (if needed) to eliminate isolated pockets of fat and to trim away all excess skin at the top of the thigh area. The remaining skin will be pulled upward so it is tight and secured with sutures. In specific patients, an incision may be made in the outer thigh area or underneath the buttocks, depending on the amount of skin and tissue being addressed. Within a few days, most patients are up and slowly walking around, which is recommended for better blood circulation and speedier healing. The total recovery time usually takes about 6 – 8 weeks. I have fully recovered from my Diep flap procedure and reconstructive surgery from Dr. Stalder. I could not be happier with the outcome! I had considered having a rhinoplasty for several years but was nervous that I would come out looking like a completely different person. I had Botox done by Dr Stalder and it has been the best Botox I’ve ever received. I’ve been to plenty of different kind of providers for Botox but Dr Stalder did the best I’ve ever had. He’s professional but also easy going and easy to talk to about what you’re looking for.
